THE JOHN MCCRIRICK age discrimination case hearing has heard that the former Channel 4 horse racing frontman has gambled his house on the outcome of his £3 million claim.
He told the Employment Tribunal “My home is now on the line because of this. I believe what I’m doing is right. I have put my own personal future on the line,” it was reported yesterday.
The Irish Mirror said that the eccentric TV star told the hearing he and his wife had to take out a mortgage equity release to pay for their legal costs.
Channel 4 and the production company deny age discrimination was a factor when Mr McCririck was dropped from their lineup. The case continues.
